Also what we do

Custom home renovations

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and whole-home renovations, planned properly so you know the cost and the timeline before demolition starts.

The approach

The same standard, applied to a house that already exists

Renovating is harder than building new. You are working around what is already there, you are usually working around the people living in it, and you do not know everything you are dealing with until the walls are open.

That is exactly why it needs a builder rather than a handyman. We investigate before we quote, we allow for what is likely behind the drywall, and we tell you early if something changes rather than presenting it as a surprise at the end.

Dust control, floor protection and a tidy site at the end of each day are not extras. They are how we work when you are living through the job.

Renovation services

What we take on

From a single room done exceptionally well to a whole-home renovation that changes how the house works.

Kitchens

Layout changes, custom cabinetry, stone counters, tile and lighting, including the structural and mechanical work behind moving a wall or an island.

Bathrooms

Full gut renovations done waterproof and done once. Tiled showers, heated floors, proper ventilation and fixtures that are actually serviceable later.

Basements

Unfinished space turned into living space: insulation, framing, egress, moisture control, bathrooms and in-law or rental suites.

Additions

Extra square footage that reads as part of the original home. Matched rooflines, matched finishes, and the structural work engineered properly.

Whole-Home Renovations

Taking a dated house back to studs and rebuilding it around how you live now, often for less than the cost of moving.

Exteriors

Siding, windows, doors, decks and roofing: the work that protects everything else and lifts the look of the whole property.

Renovation process

How a renovation runs

  1. Walkthrough

We come to the house, look at what you have, and talk through what is possible and what it is likely to cost.

  2. Scope & Quote

You get a written scope and a detailed quote, including a realistic allowance for what we expect to find once we open things up.

  3. Protect & Demolish

Floors and adjacent rooms are protected, dust barriers go up, and demolition is done cleanly before anything is rebuilt.

  4. Rebuild

Structural, mechanical and finishing work sequenced to keep the job moving and keep your house liveable while we are in it.

  5. Final Clean & Review

We finish the deficiency list, clean the space properly, and walk it with you before we call the job done.

Common questions

Renovation FAQs

What homeowners usually want to know before a renovation starts. Anything not covered here, call 1 (506) 232-8338.

What kinds of renovations does Platinum Pro Construction take on?
Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, whole-home renovations and exterior work including siding, windows, doors, decks and roofing.
How does a renovation project run?
There are five stages. Walkthrough: looking at the existing house and talking through what is possible and what it is likely to cost. Scope and quote: a written scope and detailed quote, including a realistic allowance for what is expected to be found once things are opened up. Protect and demolish: floors and adjacent rooms are protected, dust barriers go up, and demolition is done cleanly. Rebuild: structural, mechanical and finishing work sequenced to keep the house liveable. Final clean and review: the deficiency list is finished, the space is cleaned, and it is walked with the client before the job is called done.
Can I stay in the house during the renovation?
The work is planned around people living in the house. Dust control, floor protection and tidying the site at the end of each day are standard, and the rebuild is sequenced to keep the house liveable while work is under way.
How are unexpected problems behind the walls handled?
Investigation happens before the quote, and the quote carries a realistic allowance for what is likely to be behind the drywall. If something does change, the client is told early rather than at the end of the job.
Does Platinum Pro Construction do additions as well as interior renovations?
Yes. Additions and extensions are built to read as part of the original house, with matched rooflines and finishes and the structural work engineered properly.
What areas does Platinum Pro Construction renovate in?
Renovation work is carried out in New Brunswick, Canada. Call 1 (506) 232-8338 or email office@platinumproconstruction.ca to confirm a specific location.
